Hello Team! Our Donor Advancement message takes us to the unlikely and under-appreciated---the effectiveness and power of Foundation Grants and the handwritten card. One can immediately fulfill a financial need; the other allows us to make our way into the lives of potential donors and bring a sweet connection with current donors.
Potential Places To Find People Worth Celebrating:
- local newspaper articles
- TV, radio, podcasts that give out ‘player-of-the-week’ honors.
- published honor rolls for grades
- school social media pages
- college conferences that recognize athletes weekly.
- ihsa.org lists results of all sports, including state finals
I encourage you to be on the lookout for opportunities to celebrate athletes and coaches. It’s a chance to make a meaningful relational deposit with folks you may not even know. Invest in some FCA-branded cards to make an impact that can one day move folks to support this wonderful ministry.
